Who runs it

DankMinecraftServers is run by Minecraft server owners. We also run Dank Prison, which is listed here under exactly the same rules as every other server. We built the list we wanted as owners: honest vote counts, vote rewards that work without opening a port, and Bedrock players treated as first-class.

How the ranking works

• Players vote for a server once a day. The list is ordered by this month's votes, and the monthly count starts again on the 1st.
• One vote per server per day from each network, each Minecraft name and each browser, so refreshing or switching names doesn't add votes.
• Every vote is checked against VPN, proxy and data-centre IP ranges. Flagged votes are shown separately, so owners and players can see how many are verified.
• There are no paid placements: the order is votes only.

For server owners

Listing a server is free. You prove it's yours by putting a short code in your MOTD, and then you get:

• Vote rewards through Votifier (v1 or v2) or the DankVotes plugin, which needs no open port.
• Bedrock and crossplay support: Geyser players vote with their gamertag and we add your Floodgate prefix.
• Analytics: votes and vote quality, uptime and outages, listing traffic, and whether your votes actually reach your server.
• Free vote buttons and live widgets for your website.
